The Discipleship Course - starts the 11th of February

Would you like to deepen your faith? Whether you have been a Christian for a few months or many years, you are welcome to come along to our new Discipleship Course. It runs on Thursday evenings starting with coffee at 7.45pm and finishing at 9.15pm. The course will also be the basis of preparation for Baptism and or Confirmation, arranged for the 25th of April. Please pick up a registration form in the Church Lounge and post completed forms into the silver box.

Quiz Night, with Quiz Master Chris Davies

Saturday the 13th of March at 7.30 pm in the Lower Lounge. £3 per person includes a glass of wine. Bring some shared snacks and drinks. Tickets on sale from the Church Office. 313-0413.

Annual Church Parochial Meeting

Monday, 19th April, 7.30pm all those on the St John's Electoral Roll can attend

Children's Tea Party

Saturday, 24th of April, 3 - 5 pm, £2 per child, under 2's attend free. For all children 8 years and under, with parents accompanying them.

Children's Spirituality

How is our God imprtant to our children? How do they pick up and learn spiritual issues and how can we help them with their faith? For parents, grandparents, relatives, teachers - we have invited the Bishop's Advisor for Children's Ministry, Claire Wesley, to come and give us some more ideas. Wednesday April 28th and May 12th at 7.45 pm at St John's. Please reply to the Church Office by the 14th of April.

Christian Jamming Session for Musicians and Singers

Starting at 8pm - 9.30pm on the First Thursday of every month.

An opportunity to play alongside other musicians in a non-pressured environment and in an atmosphere of support and encouragement. An opportunity to develop skills and to worship God together.

Barn Reunion - Calling all 15 - 20 Somethings!

The next Barn Reunion will be held on Easter Sunday (4th April) in the Upper Lounge at St John's Church at 7 pm. Whether you have been to Barn before or not, all are welcome to join us in having fun and to m ake some time for God. Please contact Church Office or search Facebook for "St.John's, Walmley Youth - Past & Present" or the associated Facebook Event, "Easter Barn Re-union" for more information and to let us know if you will be attending (so we can provide enough snacks). If you are game for a laugh and want to laugh at games, please come and join us.
